Almost implosively dense in the mouth, it manages for all of its thickness of fruit, tar, dark chocolate, and herbal concentrates to retain distinct sense of chalky and wet stone mineral adjuncts. A bit more overtly tannic and raw in finish than the 2005, it largely makes up for that in sheer concentration and finishing grip. This will be worth following for at least 5-7 years, I suspect."
