Barolo is my personal favorite wine and the wines of Silvio Grasso have a traditional textbook Barolo aromas of red currants, spice, aromatic herbs, leather and sweet sandalwood. Meduim to full-bodied with generous fruit, complex flavors and a grippy, tannic backbone. This could use a few years of cellar time but I'm drinking a few bottles when it arrives.
