The pale, pinkish salmon color is so inviting. Bright aromatics of strawberry, cherry and redcurrant with back-notes of blood orange, watermelon and and a touch of floral, Rosé-like freshness. Crisp, and delicious, this has a zippy tang to the mouthwatering lip-smaking flavors.
Chantepierre (The Singing Stones) is produced by the Cave des Vignerons de Tavel and represents the purest Provençal style of dry
Rosé. It was built in 1937 when Tavel wines were labelled AOC. It is to date the only winery to be opened by a President of the Republic - Albert Lebrun in 1938. Cave de Tavel produces half of the Tavel AOC wines, as well as this wonderful IGP Pays Du Gard Rosé we are offering here. Delicious, dry and extremely affordable.
If any of you like Houchart Rosé, I think this is a better Rosé and certainly a much better value. Tremendous quality-vs-price ratio - KEITH
